Community Rules & Content Policy
Buddy is built for planning good times with people you know. To keep it safe, we operate a zero-tolerance policy on the content below. These rules apply everywhere in the app — pod chats, community channels, comments, profiles, and images.
Not allowed
- Violent content — depicting, glorifying, or encouraging violence or harm.
- Sexual content — sexual or sexually suggestive material of any kind.
- Threats & harassment — threats, intimidation, or targeted abuse of others.
- Content that is illegal, or that exploits or endangers anyone, especially minors.
How we enforce it
- Automated screening: message and comment text is checked before it’s published; violations are blocked at the source and never shown to others.
- Reporting: every message, comment, and profile can be reported in-app; reports are reviewed, with a target response within 24 hours.
- Blocking: you can block any user instantly; their content disappears for you and yours for them.
- Strikes: violations record a strike. Three strikes is a 7-day suspension; five is a permanent ban.
- Appeals: suspended or banned users may appeal once by contacting support@egboinc.com; our decision is final.
Reporting an emergency
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first, then report to us at support@egboinc.com.
