Effective June 15, 2026 · Buddy is operated by MEBAL.

By creating an account or using Buddy, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Buddy.

Acceptable use & zero tolerance for objectionable content

You agree to follow our Community Rules. Buddy has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. We screen content, act on reports, and may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate the rules. There is no tolerance for harassment of other users.

Your content

You own the content you create. You grant MEBAL a limited license to host and display it solely to operate the service. You’re responsible for what you post.

Accounts & termination

You’re responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time (see Delete account).

Disclaimers & liability

Buddy is provided “as is,” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MEBAL is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including in-person meetups you arrange through it. You are responsible for your own safety when meeting others.

Apple App Store

If you obtained Buddy via Apple, the Apple-required EULA terms also apply and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms; Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
